LA RANA ARBORÍCOLA / THE GREEN TREE FROG
Los bosques de Costa Rica son bosques encantados donde
habitan animales encantadores. Se encuentra entre ellos la
rana arborícola, que hace gala en su cuerpo de una
batería de colores encendidos.
Los machos de esta especie son buscapleitos que se enfrascan en hacer ruidos, movimientos y peleas que atraigan a las hembras. Pero bien, son ellas las que deciden quién les ayudará a perpetuar la especie.
Costa Rica’s forests are enchanted and in them live enchanting animals. Among these creatures is the green tree frog who appears decked out for a party in her bright festive colors.
The males of this species are troublemakers. They spend their time croaking and roughhousing in an effort to attract a female’s eye. In the end, she marks her preference by choosing the mate who will help perpetuate the species.
