EL GALÁN SIN VENTURA / THE HAPLESS SUITOR
El galán sin ventura es una garza que está enfrentando la
desgraciada contaminación de las aguas. Conocido también como jabirú -de cuello hinchado- tal como lo dice su nombre en guaraní, es amante de los arrozales y sus múltiples riachuelos.
Dicen que su nombre se debe a que los sabaneros guanacastecos se vestían de blanco y se anudaban un pañuelo rojo al cuello para galantear.
Alguien encontró que aves y hombres tenían un parecido en su apariencia y el mote se le quedó a nuestro personaje.
